Dee, I have heard many messages on prayer. This one here tonight is the best I have ever heard. It was wonderful, inspiring, powerful, and the Holy Spirit was in it all. Dee, thank you and thank the Lord for the wisdom He has given you. I learned a lot this weekend about myself, and about the Lord and how much He loves me. I have been really struggling these past weeks and thank the Lord He showed me what was the problem. I was eating from the wrong tree and it was making me sick. Praise God for healing. I spent three and half hours just with God and journaling my brains out. It was very restful and wonderful to be on the beach. Thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into this weekend. You are a delight and a joy even if you say you can’t sing. Praise the Lord for all the talent we have at church. Let’s do this again real soon. Love you lots. -Liesl

 

Dee I will never forget this weekend. Truly I am not the same person who arrived just two days ago. I came here burdened with a very low opinion of myself and unable to accept God’s forgiveness. When you showed me that I had actually set myself as an idol by esteeming my definition of me above God’s definition of who I am, a door shut on my past that will never be reopened. Dee, I thank the Lord for you! This weekend was such a blessing to me. I was feeling inadequate about a lot of things going on in my life. Yesterday on the beach I was still dealing with the same things I have been. I just kept praying: Lord please let me see a break through in this area, and it happened today! It was awesome. I know I am not done working through these issues yet, but I know this is a start and I have a lot of good notes from your teaching to help me out. -Amy

I’m so thankful I came to this retreat. Here is where God’s power is so wonderfully displayed in nature. He chose each one of us for this special time to give unique and special gifts. -Mary

 

It’s funny how God works. When I was asked to do this worship, it was supposed to be with Judy as the leader and me as the guitarist. God had different plans. This was my first time leading worship and I have to say I think I got blessed more than the women. I was leading Friday night when my Father gave me a new name (confidence), which I have lacked for so long. We sang “I will change your name” and He did. Saturday morning was both surprising and overwhelming. Dee prayed for me and I was blessed. She prayed things I have been praying for years…Blessings on my music, marital blessings, healing for my back and to be used by God in a mighty way. I am thankful God “cornered” me into doing this worship when a part of me was afraid! Thank you Dee! -Joel

 

Everyone has to step out of the hustle and bustle of our busy lives to reflect on what life is all about and to reconnect with the Father of creation. Thank you for providing us with such an occasion. May God bless you for your labor of love. -Heather

 

This time of refreshing and rest was desperately needed. I just want to thank you Dee for allowing the Lord to work through you as you do. The simplest things are sometimes so enlightening. There were some very powerful encounters with the Lord. I came expecting this to be a deliverance conference. While I was wanting and thinking it would be so different, God knowing my heart met me and allowed a great healing and intimacy with Him. God bless you. -Connie

God’s timing is great! I was in dire need of refreshing my Spirit. There’s a verse in Revelations that says “Strengthen that which remains before it withers and dies.” That was me before this retreat and I have now been refreshed. God is good! Praise His Holy Name! -Debbie

 

The time with other believers is a time of refreshing and revelation and this has been good for me. It has opened my heart to Jesus and His love to other believers that I have met and enjoyed. The Lord said we should meet new friends and keep our old ones. I was proud to be part of this retreat and to enjoy His presence. Love -Eleanor

 

The Father’s love has been made real to me! It has been very refreshing. I walked away feeling accepted and loved by the maker of the universe. I also enjoyed the fellowship of other women and many of them spoke into my life I had a wonderful time. -Melissa

 

Thank you for all your love and sacrifice this weekend, and for allowing me to be a part of it. It was a very full weekend, but full of richness, promise and rest in the arms of the Father. I worked through many things with God and have many more to go, but it will be easier knowing and having a deeper relationship with my Daddy. I started this weekend feeling as I have my whole life; like an orphan on the street, dirty, dressed in rags, and hoping for people to drop some scraps for me. I am now entering my Fathers house to be held, cleaned and fed by my Holy Father who loves me. Thank you for being the vessel God has used to finally get His message through to touch me. Dee, you are so genuine and real. I love your sense of humor. I feel the love of God in your heart for me and for others. I am amazed at your ability to minister, to listen to the pain of others, and come out with joy. I have been ministered to, delivered, liberated, and educated. I am not a victim, or afraid of rejection anymore. I am becoming more like Jesus every day and I can say like you “I am happier now, more then in my whole life”.
